Sometimes, usually by blind, dumb luck, we get it right. I think I may have done it this time, but you never know. Love is like flying: it only works if you don't think about it too much.

Anyway, Icarus had a hell of a ride, and I'm going to enjoy mine as long as it lasts.

“The King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” —Matthew 25:40

On second thought, fuck the "least of these." The little bastards should count themselves lucky to get anything at all, especially if their parents are poor:

How did we cede the moral high ground to these sanctimonious cocksuckers? Even a secular humanist like me recognizes that taking food from the mouths of babes while publicly humiliating them is contrary to every single thing Jesus stood for.

Are these godly folk too busy using the bible to beat us about the head and neck to actually read the damn thing? If so, let me give them a synopsis: It says you should treat everyone the way you would like to be treated. That's it! It's so simple and fundamental it's called the Golden Rule, for Christ's sake! Six-year-old children recite it over and over again in Sunday school classes held in renovated K-Mart buildings across the great Red States. Does the frantic thigh rubbing over the thought of gay marriage drown out the childrens' cherubic voices?

I don't mean to rant, but the current attack on social and education programs by these born-again jackasses chafes my hide. These "Christians" tell me I can live forever in heaven with the baby Jesus if I accept Him into my heart. If that means I have to become like them, the baby Jesus can kiss my ass.

When you think about it, the Iraqis should be honored. After all, our religion is built around a middle-eastern man being persecuted by occupiers.

We're treating them just like our Lord.
